Ramadan Mubarak


Teraweeh is held during Ramadan after Isha prayer

"O you who believe, fasting is prescribed to you as it was prescribed to those before you, that you may (learn) self-restraint." Qur’an 2: 183

During Ramadan:

  • Iftar for singles (Brothers and Sisters) will be provided every day (Donations to sponsor daily iftar can be made in the masjid)
  • Iftar for all members will be provided on Saturdays. It will be sponsored by below community groups.
    • Community Dinner (1st Saturday) – UPMC Hamot Hospital
    • Community Dinner (2nd Saturday)– South Asian group
    • Community Dinner (3rd Saturday)– Syrian group
    • Community Dinner (4th Saturday)– Somali and Multicultural group
  • Tahajjud prayers and I'tikaf will be held during the last 10 days of Ramadan.
Fajr iqamah will be 20 minutes after the athan. Magrib iqamah will be 10 minutes after the athan. For Ramadan 2018 Prayer times Click here. PDF

First day of Ramadan will be on Thursday, May 17, 2018 InshaAllah.


Teraweeh starts on Wednesday, May 16 after Isha prayer at 10:20pm

Prayer (Salah)

Daily Prayers: Masjid is open for all five daily prayers. There are separate prayer halls and wudhu (ablution) areas for men and women.

Jumuah Prayer: Khutbah starts at 1:00pm and Prayer starts at 1:30pm. Jumuah Prayer times are the same throughout the year and does not change with daylight saving times.
